Configure an existing PacsoftNG installation to send SMS through the TNZ Email-to-SMS gateway.

Set up the integration

1. In PacsoftNG, open Settings > System > Messaging > SMS Setup.
2. Set Fields to CustomerMobileNumber.
3. Set To E-mail Format to {CustomerMobileNumber}@sms.tnz.co.nz.
4. Set From Email Address to an address controlled by your organisation.
5. Register that exact From Email Address with TNZ. See Adding a new email address for sending.
6. Save the settings.
7. Send a test message.

Test the setup

1. Confirm the generated destination contains the customer's mobile number followed by @sms.tnz.co.nz.
2. Confirm the actual From address matches the registered TNZ User.
3. Check the received SMS content, delivery result, and reply destination.

Troubleshooting

The placeholder appears literally

Your PacsoftNG release may use different field syntax. Confirm the mobile field and placeholder format with PacsoftNG Support.

TNZ rejects the From address

Register the exact address stored in From Email Address as a TNZ User.

The documented menu is unavailable

Ask PacsoftNG Support for the equivalent Email-to-SMS configuration in your installed release.
