Update What changed
In-app notifications Important product news and service information now appear in the top-right of the Dashboard.
Service status View current and scheduled incidents at status.tnz.co.nz.
Conversations Several usability improvements are now available. Enable Auto-Create Conversations to make full use of the updated experience.
Email tracking Track links in email messages, including links to TNZ Custom landing pages.
Address Book search Search using an uploaded number format such as 021-010101, or its E.164 equivalent +6421010101, and filter contacts.
MFA enforcement Require multi-factor authentication for selected Dashboard users or everyone in the account. Read the MFA management guide →

Integration updates

Connect TNZ with more of the systems your teams already use.

Salesforce
EARLY ACCESS		 Initial Salesforce support is available for early adopters who want to help shape the integration.
Zapier Synchronise Address Book contacts, including updating TNZ contacts when information changes in another system.
GoHighLevel Send Review Requests through TNZ when TNZ SMS is configured as the account’s default SMS provider.
HubSpot Send SMS messages from HubSpot Deals automations using TNZ.

Platform and technical updates

Alongside the headline releases, we have improved platform resilience, account controls, and international SMS coverage.

OpenAPI 3.1 Download the REST API v3.00 definition in YAML or JSON for compatible development and testing tools. Open the API documentation →
API routing Connections can rotate between endpoints according to load using DNS-based load balancing rather than proxying request traffic.
International SMS controls Set user-level access to Band 1 for New Zealand and Australia, or Band 2 for New Zealand, Australia, and approximately 120 other countries.
International coverage Access 30 additional countries immediately, with pre-registration available for 11 countries that were previously unavailable. View supported destinations →

Developer releases

Two releases lead this quarter's update: a simpler REST API for developers and a new way to connect compatible AI tools with TNZ communications.

REST API v3.00

Version 3.00 removes the MessageData wrapper, simplifies destinations, introduces TemplateID, and deprecates the XML API. It gives existing API users a cleaner structure for new development and future upgrades.

TNZ MCP Client

Connect compatible AI tools and agents with TNZ messaging. The locally installed Python client can send messages, manage Address Book contacts, and check communication outcomes while keeping your prompts and application logic on your machine.
