Checking TNZ Service Status and Outages

If your messages are delayed or something does not look right, you can check TNZ's live service status in a few seconds. This guide shows you where to look, how to get notified about incidents, and what to check on your own account first.

📡 Check the Live Status Page

TNZ publishes a live status page at status.tnz.co.nz. It shows:

  • Whether TNZ's endpoints are operating normally right now
  • Any planned outages (scheduled maintenance windows)
  • Past events, so you can see recent incidents and how they were resolved
💡 Status page looks clear, but you still have a problem?
If the status page shows everything operating normally but you are still seeing an issue, it is likely specific to your account, message, or setup. See Check Your Side First below. If everything looks OK, don't be afraid to raise a ticket with TNZ Support!

To hear about incidents and planned maintenance as they happen, use the Subscribe To Updates link on status.tnz.co.nz. Once you subscribe, updates come to you instead of you having to check the page.

🛠️ Planned Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance is listed on the status page ahead of time under planned outages. If you run time-sensitive messaging, subscribe so you can plan around any maintenance windows.
