Shared SMS Short Codes

SMS Short Codes are an excellent way to capture the interest of a mobile phone user!

Do you expect customers to memorize a full length mobile number?
A Short Code is a 3 or 4 digit number (e.g. 7575) that is easy to remember amongst a flurry of advertising.
Act now and grab those customers with a Short Code!

  • Upon registering, you will be asked to select a 'Keyword' on our short code. All messages received by the Short Code must begin with your Keyword

  • Sending a TXT to your Keyword will cost the sender 20c. There is no charge to you for receiving messages into the Short Code

  • When a TXT is received into your chosen Keyword, you will be allowed to send an automatic free reply, eg "Thank you for entering! Prizes will be drawn next week."

  • Each time a text message is received to your Keyword, the message can be optionally emailed to your email address, or transmitted to you via an API (HTTP POST, GET or SOAP)

  • All received messages are logged inside our Web Portal for viewing at any time

  • Our Short Codes work with all the major mobile operators in New Zealand, including Vodafone, 2Degrees, Spark and other mobile partners
